6TH ANNUAL SPRING NATURE FESTIVAL

The Kern Sierra Unit participated in the 6th Annual Spring Nature Festival held at the Wind Wolves Preserve. Lynn Joiner manned our booth on Saturday and Patty Montoya took over booth duty on Sunday. We were able to provide the public with information on what the BCHC does to preserve and maintain our trails. We also had a horse and mule available for the kids to pet. We explained how the stock assists us in our mission. The most common questioned asked was “What’s the difference between a horse and a mule.?” As always, we made a good impression and were able to educate the attendees.
